Amanda Hartley Reviews

Ms. Hartley hails from Rhode Island, but is proud to call Chicago home. During her seven years in the Windy City she’s earned her MFA in Acting at The Theatre School of DePaul, won a Jeff Award for playing the witch, Salome, in The Robber Bridegroom with Griffin Theatre, and a Jeff nomination for best ensemble in the long-Running Jacques Brel; Songs of Love and War with Theo Ubique. She also sings all over town and is a proud member of both the Chicago Cabaret Professionals, and the celebrated burlesque song and dance troupe, The Flaming Dames. Most recently, she’s performed in shows at Metropolis, Caffeine Theatre, Light Opera Works, and Redmoon Theatre. Amanda is the playwright of a new musical which begins production this summer, and most happily, a newlywed who lives on the North side with her husband and her bird.
